In the words of  a recent graduate:

“I’ve been meaning to create and perform a burlesque solo for years, but never followed through with it. Kellita’s Crafting the Solo class finally made it possible. I couldn’t have created and performed a burlesque solo without the structure, the feedback and, most importantly, the love that suffused this class. I highly recommend Hot Pink Feathers’ “Crafting the Solo” class.”

& 45 min privates scheduled individually

Limited enrollment; Pre-registration required

Character & Persona Development with Dr. Lucky

blessed-virgin

What do drag queens and clowns (good ones at least) have in common? They are able to “pull off” their characters by creating and sustaining believable (or unbelievable) stage personae. Through improvisation exercises, writing prompts, and movement activities, this workshop will provide a framework, techniques, and the creative space to begin (or continue) the process of birthing and developing a flamboyant stage persona.

When: 8:30-10:30 p.m. June 23
Cost: $30 by June 9; $35 by June 16; $40 at the door
*no (additional) cost for Crafting the Solo participants
